At Steel Alloys, we offer commercially Pure (CP) Titanium Grade 3, known for its excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing and mildly reducing environments, including chlorides. This lightweight alloy delivers outstanding strength and has the highest allowable design stresses among CP titanium grades.

Grade 3 titanium is versatile with good impact properties at low temperatures and can be welded, machined, cold worked, hot worked, and cast. Available in bars, billets, plates, wire, and pipe, its mechanical properties include a UTS of 85 Ksi (595 MPa), 0.02% YS of 65 Ksi (450 MPa), 25% elongation, and 48% reduction in area. The chemical composition is as follows: Nitrogen 0.05% max, Carbon 0.08% max, Oxygen 0.35% max, Iron 0.30% max, Hydrogen 0.015% max, with Titanium making up the remainder.
